How We Make Money

The App is free. We make money one way: some prop firms pay us a commission when someone signs up through our link or uses one of our discount codes, including code FSNR.

Wherever a firm pays us, we say so on the screen you are looking at, not only here. The one place those firms get special treatment is a section in the App labeled "Our picks · Paid", and it says so on its face. Everywhere else, whether a firm pays us does not change the order firms are listed in or any figure we show about them.

Firms that currently pay us: Apex Trader Funding, Tradeify and IQ Capital. Every other firm we list has no arrangement with us: no commission and no code. We update this list when an arrangement starts or ends.

We have referral arrangements with some of the proprietary trading firms we list. Where one exists, we may earn a commission if you open an account through our link, and we may show you a discount code that also pays us when it is used. Most firms we list have no arrangement with us at all. They are listed because traders use them, not because anyone paid to be there.

The FTC's Endorsement Guides require a paid relationship to be disclosed close to the thing it could influence, so you will see it:

• On this website, beside every partner firm in the comparison table, tagged "Partner · paid", and next to code FSNR.

• In the App, on the "Our picks · Paid" section of the home screen, on a firm's page beside the link and the code, and beside any plan or code from a firm that pays us.

• In the App under You → Legal → "How we make money", and on this page.

A firm we are not paid by carries no note, because there is nothing to disclose.

"Our picks · Paid." The App's home screen has a short section of accounts we would open today. It is our opinion, and it is paid: every firm in it pays us, and we choose which firms appear and in what order. It is not a ranking and not a claim that these are the best firms for you. Next to it, "Rated by traders" shows the plain average of reviews from App users, with the number of reviews beside every score. Payment plays no part in it.

The "Easiest to attempt" sort is not for sale. It reads five published rules and nothing else: drawdown type, whether there is a daily loss limit, minimum trading days before a payout, cost to reach a first payout, and whether there is a consistency rule. Whether a firm pays us is not an input to that sort, to the firm list or comparison table, to trader ratings, or to any figure shown about a firm.

A commission is not an endorsement. It means we get paid if you sign up. It is not a statement that a firm is good, safe, solvent or right for you.

Paid firms get the same treatment everywhere else: the same warnings, the same verification date, the same flags where our sources disagreed. We do not soften a description because a firm pays us, and we do not remove a firm for declining to. Outside the labeled "Our picks · Paid" section, no firm can buy a higher position, a badge or a better write-up.

If you would rather not send a commission our way, ignore the links and codes and go to the firm directly. Everything works the same either way. Firm data comes from public sources on the date shown and firms change terms without notice, so check with the firm before you buy anything, including a firm that pays us. Not financial advice.
